I ordered a Christmas Centerpiece over the phone from Alaska and I have learned my lesson. My parents sent me a picture and they said they were happy with it, so I guess that's why I give it one star. But suggest you always ask for a picture or similar picture of the item you are ordering. My parents received this simple tin bucket with a cardinal on it (yuck!) with some evergreens and one tall skinny candle. I think it was the tin bucket that really has upset me. A centerpiece doesn't come in a tiny tin bucket, it is usually a spray of evergreens coming from a short flat container that can't be seen while it sets in the center of a table. I'm not happy with my $61 purchase from Elaine's Flowers. Maybe if I was more specific in my order... *sigh*
You will not find a florist who will make a more beautiful arrangement for whatever your budget allows and for any occasion. No, I'm not kin to her, but wish I were so I could say I had such an artist who loves excellence like her as a family member. Thank-you Miss Elaine!
Flowers by Elaine recently arranged flowers for my Grandfather's funeral. I was confident that she was the one for the job, since my mother suggested her. I am very critical when it comes to flower selection and arrangement, being a Wedding Planner in South Florida. To top it off, my Grandfather was a Funeral Director himself, so I wanted the arrangement to be amazing. With very little direction, she was able to provide a beautiful display of potted Mini Calla Lilies in my favorite shade. She combined this with beautiful, potted greenery, in a basked adorned with butterflies. I can't express my gratitude for her display of talent. I suggest you look no further, if you are seeking a gifted florist in this area!
I live out of state and the two times I have called in orders for my mom they have been beautiful. The ladies are super nice and helpful. I will continue to send flowers to my mother this way...thank you ladies
