I called to ask if the Wedowee facility offered physical therapy. The operator said yes at the Brennan facility. I said I wanted to know if it was offered in Wedowee she then said she yes and she would connect me with the PT center. I was transfer, received a message saying the number reached had no voice mail then I was disconnected. I'm sorry I voted for the tax increase.
I took my 3 year old here on a Friday night after being diagnosed Wednesday by his pediatrician with the flu type A, it was a little after 5pm when he started a high fever 103 and rapid breathing and vomiting, which were signs to get medical attention, we arrive around 10mins til 6 pm go back to a room fairly quick, in which the nurse looked him over and got a urine smaple, nurses came in ever so often checking on us, 2 hours later a doctor pop's his head in saying they have a critical patient coming in and it will be a few more mins, an hour later he comes in say everything is flu symptoms and prescribes zofran for vomiting, never looks in an ear, never listens to his chest , NEVER runs anymore test, sends us home only to wind up in East Alabama med center on Sunday with , yes the flu, double pneumonia, strep, RSV and an ear infection !!!! Several would have been caught on to if they would have ran some test or looked my child over!!! 3 day hospital stay !!!! The nurses were great tho!!!
Worst emergency room treatment ever witnessed by the DR and the CNA nurse and other staff were fine
